This meeting lasts for one hour and 15 minutes.

8) ANONYMITY STATEMENT In Al-Anon this is a gentle reminder that we speak from our own experience and ours is derived from living with the effects of alcoholism. We ask those who are members of other twelve step fellowships not to break their anonymity and to try and identify with the Al-Anon approach for the family illness and to refrain from quoting other program literature. Ours is a different experience and calls for a different interpretation.



 

 

9) ASK FOR A TIMEKEEPER We have 3 minute shares do we have a volunteer to be our spiritual timekeeper? Please be gentle when you call time. When you hear the timekeeper call time please let them know you heard them.

 

10) It is now 10 minutes before the close of the meeting; we will now open up the sharing for newcomers or for members who do not regularly share.

 

11) CLOSING:

After the serenity prayer, we will exchange phone numbers or give out phone numbers for outreach.  We will also read the list of all Al-Anon phone meetings on this phone bridge, if requested.  The bridge remains open for questions and sharing after the official meeting ends. answer questions and continue the sharing?
